MOC now offers a new category of membership open to those owners and enthusiasts worldwide who have internet access and you do not need to own a Messerschmitt to join MOC. Membership is offered at a reduced rate of GBP15 (approx $20USD) plus a joining fee of 5UKP (approx $7USD). The total initial charge is 20UKP, which is approximately equivalent to $28USD. The exact cost to you is determined by your credit card company if your credit card account is denominated in a currency other than GB Pounds.

How do I view/read Kabinews?

In each case, the document would be in PDF format. This is platform independent document transmission software that requires a freeware program, such as Acrobat Reader, to read. You could either read the document and view the pictures from a conventional computer screen, or print it out and read it as anyone would read the standard paper version.

How would the print quality and pictures compare with the printed copy?

Resolution is very good when viewed on a computer screen and the text would be easier to see for those with impaired sight. You may also print out sections for your personal use only. This is particularly useful for compiling the many technical articles when the pictures and diagrams can be printed out to any useful size.

When would I receive Kabinews?

It would be sent to you via email on a bi-monthly basis on the same day as a UK member would receive their paper copy. For USA and non-European members, this would be many days earlier than the current paper based distribution.

How would new members join as an Internet Member

Because the service requires Internet access, membership would be via application on our website with payment by PayPal. It would not be possible to join this category of membership by any other means.

What would be my status as an Internet Member?

Could UK and European based people become Internet Members?

Yes, but there would not be any saving for them by doing this. However, it may be more convenient for some who travel frequently.

Why is there a joining fee?

There are some administrative costs and this fee is there to cover that. You will be asked for just 15UKP (approx 20USD) for subsequent annual renewal, though the club does reserve the right to change membership fees without notice.

When does the membership year start and end?

All memberships fall due for renewal on 01 January each year. You can join at any time before September and receive the whole year of back issues in downloadable format. Join after September and you will enjoy 15 months of Membership before the next renewal comes.

Is Kabinews available as an extra high resolution version?

Yes, the pdf files with high resolution pictures that are used by the printer to create the magazine are available on CDs. A CD containing each full year is available for purchase via our website link.
